Introduction
Every Bringme Box can be used to receive deliveries and to facilitate the exchange of material between different Bringme users. If desired, it can also be used to send and return parcels. However, this requires an additional service contract with the supported courier service via Bringme, which is currently only possible in Belgium.
The article below describes how to send or return a parcel with the Bringme Box when this service is active on your Bringme Box. If the buttons described in step 3 are not available on your Bringme Box, this means the service is not active and we advise you to contact your Bringme admin for more information.
Answer: a step-by-step guide
- Make sure that a valid shipping label from one of the supported courier services (Bpost or DHL Parcel) is attached to the parcel. Note the tracking number on the shipping label.
Tip: How to create a shipping label?
- Go to the Bringme Box with the parcel and sign in by scanning your personal access code or Bringme Badge (or enter your code manually by clicking the ‘OR ENTER YOUR CODE’ button).
- Press 'Send a parcel' or 'Return a parcel'. The screen will notify the user about which courier services are supported to send parcels via the Bringme Box. Check the shipping label again to see if it corresponds the supported courier services. Click OK.
- A compartment will open. Deliver the parcel in the Bringme Box and close the compartment door.
- The Bringme App will notify the user when the parcel has been picked up by the courier.
